Utility / Prep Food Service Worker - Part-Time

The New Hampshire Food Bank is currently seeking a part-time Utility / Prep Food Service Worker to join their team and contribute to their impactful mission. This role involves a commitment of 16 hours per week, with working hours scheduled from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, thus providing a balanced and manageable work schedule. The Utility / Prep Food Service Worker plays a vital role in the food service operations within the organization’s kitchen. This role focuses primarily on general kitchen maintenance and food preparation tasks, ensuring that the kitchen functions smoothly and efficiently. The worker will assist chefs with a variety of food preparation duties such as washing, cutting, mixing, cooking, cooling, panning, assembling, wrapping, and delivering food as necessary. Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment is a high priority, and the role includes ware washing and sanitizing dishes according to approved methods, as well as ensuring that all kitchen areas and food storage spaces are kept orderly and hygienic. In addition to daily kitchen tasks, the Utility / Prep Food Service Worker may be called upon to assist with various catered events, fundraising initiatives, and food truck events scheduled by the Food Bank.
