Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum six months utility or dishwashing experience preferred
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally with assistance
  • Must be able to push and pull up to 50 lbs occasionally with assistance
  • Ability to bend, reach, twist and stand frequently
  • Must maintain cleanliness and sanitary standards
  • Availability to work weekends
  • Dependability and punctuality
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and infection control procedures

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Maintain community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and operational organization
  • Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards
  • Perform kitchen activities including dishwashing, pot washing, general cleaning, storing supplies, and food prep assistance
  • Assist serving staff with table setup and clearing
  • Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen areas
  • Follow diet policies correctly
  • Represent the community warmly, creating a positive marketing environment
  • Support culture that drives business decisions, revenue and occupancy
  • Practice hospitality promises in all resident, employee and guest interactions
  • Observe confidentiality and safety policies
  • Assist new employees with community policies
  • Complete assignments accurately and timely
  • Attend in-services and team meetings
  • Work cooperatively with all stakeholders
  • Report safety hazards and emergency situations
  • Maintain professional appearance and attendance
  • Follow infection control and residents' rights policies
  • Perform incidental housekeeping and maintenance tasks
  • Perform related duties as assigned
