The company supports a diverse and dynamic workforce that is dedicated to hospitality and operational excellence. With a commitment to inclusion and equal opportunity, SSP America strives to create an environment where employees feel valued and empowered.

The role available is for a part-time Utility Worker, a vital position within SSP America's team that ensures the cleanliness, sanitary conditions, and smooth functioning of all restaurant areas under its operation. This position requires weekend availability and offers a competitive pay rate of $16.94 per hour, along with an estimated additional $5.08 per hour in benefits. The role involves multiple duties related to cleaning, maintaining, and supporting restaurant operations to enhance guest satisfaction and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.

Working as a Utility Worker at SSP America means being integral to creating a welcoming and hygienic environment for both guests and staff members. Utility Workers are responsible for cleaning floors, walls, ceilings, kitchen equipment, service areas, and dining spaces. Maintaining the proper storage and temperature controls of food supplies and data-recording tasks further ensure quality standards are upheld.

Beyond routine cleaning, Utility Workers assist by unloading and loading deliveries, stocking supplies, and using specific sanitary chemicals safely and effectively. They also act as support for other team members by addressing guest requests and communicating important information to supervisors and servers when needed. This role demands a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work for extended periods in confined spaces.

SSP America emphasizes comprehensive training and supportive work culture, including employee benefits such as a meal plan, 401K matching, employee assistance programs, and other comprehensive benefits that contribute to a positive and stable workplace. This role is ideally suited for individuals with some experience in retail or food service who are seeking a part-time position with a reputable company that values team contribution and customer service excellence.
