Job Requirements

  • minimum of 18 years of age
  • food handling certificate required
  • ability to work late night shifts potentially to between 12 am - 3am
  • able to bend at the waist and lift items up to 50 lbs. to waist level
  • able to move items up to 50 lbs. for distances of up to 25 feet
  • able to tolerate prolonged exposure to cold and hot temps
  • able to hear, understand, and respond to requests in a loud environment
  • able to tolerate exposure to cleaning agents and chemicals
  • works assigned scheduled shifts

  • ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy

  • remain in stationary position for up to 4 hours throughout work shift
  • able to tolerate prolonged exposure to cold and hot temps (below 40 degrees f and above 140 degrees f)
  • able to hear, understand, and respond to requests in a loud environment
  • able to tolerate exposure to cleaning agents and chemicals several times throughout shift
  • satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding

Job Duties

  • reports to work on time and prepared for the shift
  • follows all image and appearance standards
  • monitors product supply and replenishes stock when necessary
  • cleans and sanitizes dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and storage racks
  • communicates with chefs and managers of low product levels and equipment problems
  • removes dishes, glassware and silverware from bus tubs to prepare for cleaning
  • communicates with other team members to prioritize which dishes, pans, etc. need to be cleaned first
  • ensures that dishes, glassware, silverware, and kitchen items are clean and sanitized
  • sorts clean silverware, glassware and dishes
  • ensures that clean supplies are available at all times
  • organizes and straightens dry storage and walk-in refrigerator
  • cleans and sanitizes work stations, utensils, floors, floor mats, dumpsters, and equipment
  • transports boxes and trash bags from kitchen, dish area, etc., to dumpsters
  • distributes trash cans to kitchen, dish area, etc.
  • cleans and sanitizes restrooms and other areas
  • assist chef in portioning, prepping, an cooking as needed
  • assists other employees as needed
  • demonstrate a helpful, positive attitude at all times to guests and employees
  • understand and adhere to all safety, sanitation, and administrative procedures
  • provide complete and timely communication to other employees throughout the shift
  • is prepared to conduct weekly maintenance duties
  • complete all assigned tasks and duties requested by managers
