Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in cleaning or dishwashing preferred
  • ability to follow sanitation procedures and safety guidelines
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
  • strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • experience in a similar role in the hospitality or food service industry is advantageous
  • ability to handle heavy equipment and work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Create a positive guest experience by cleaning and maintaining hygienic work areas
  • maintain the cleanliness of all surfaces and equipment including floors, ceiling tiles, walls, windows, worktables, hoods, vents, grills, refrigerators, service counters, and storage areas
  • remove refuse to designated areas
  • clear and reset tables in dining areas between seatings, as needed, and transport service-ware to the kitchen for cleaning
  • scrape food from dirty dishes, pots, and pans and wash them by hand or load dishwasher and return them to their proper storage place
  • clean equipment using specific chemicals to meet sanitary standards, including the use of heavy equipment
  • assist all guests with specific requests and communicate special needs to server or supervisor
  • load and unload supply trucks transferring between storage and work areas
  • stock, date, rotate, and check the temperature of food items
  • perform other duties as assigned
