Job Duties
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dish washing machine and trash compactor
- wash and disinfect kitchen and storeroom areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
- receive deliveries and store perishables properly with stock rotation
- use detergent and sanitizing chemicals in 3-compartment sink for cleaning dishes
- inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items while sending soiled items back for re-scrubbing and re-washing
- rack and spray items with hot water to remove food residue
- sort, soak, and wash or re-wash silverware
- break down dirty bus tubs and empty trashcans and dumpster area
- clean and mop assigned departmental areas
- dispose of glass in appropriate containers and manage recycling
- follow company safety and security policies, report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions
- maintain positive working relationships and support team goals
- adhere to quality expectations and standards
- perform physical tasks including moving objects up to 50 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods
- perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
