In this role, the Utility team member supports the overall guest experience by ensuring that all surfaces, equipment, and dining areas are spotless and hygienic. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, walls, ceilings, and kitchen equipment, managing waste disposal properly, and using specific chemicals and tools to meet sanitation standards. The position also entails logistical tasks such as unloading and loading supply trucks and maintaining inventory control by stocking, dating, rotating, and checking food item temperatures.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 6 months experience working in retail or food service environment
- High school diploma preferred
- Verbal and written communication
- Must be able to read, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests and receive instructions
- Experience in dealing with problems involving guest service
- Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time

Job Duties
- Create a positive guest experience by cleaning and maintaining hygienic work areas
- Maintain the cleanliness of all surfaces and equipment including floors, ceiling tiles, walls, windows, worktables, hoods, vents, grills, refrigerators, service counters, storage areas
- Remove refuse to designated areas
- Clean equipment using specific chemicals to meet sanitary standards, including heavy equipment
- Load and unload supply trucks transferring supplies between storage and work areas
- Clear and reset tables in dining areas between seatings and transport service-ware to the kitchen for cleaning
- Scrape food from dirty dishes, pots, and pans, wash them by hand or load dishwashers and return items to proper storage
- Stock, date, rotate, and check the temperature of food items
