Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, crawling, reaching, stooping and lifting objects up to 30 pounds frequently
Ability to lift and move heavy or awkward objects over 30 pounds with assistance
Experience using pallet jacks to pull and push pallets preferred
Frequent exposure to company authorized cleaning agents and occasional exposure to paint and chemicals
Willingness to work indoors and outdoors under varied temperature conditions including extreme temperatures in freezers and coolers
Reliable, regular and predictable attendance
Must be able to follow safety standards and procedures
Must demonstrate honesty, integrity and commitment to providing excellent member service

Job Qualifications

Must successfully complete required training and certification processes
Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred but not required
Prior retail or wholesale experience is preferred
May be less than 18 years old to perform parking lot cart functions
Must be at least 18 years old to operate equipment and enter age-restricted areas

Job Duties

Provide members with prompt and courteous service and assistance
Maintain high standards of safety and sanitation for members and team members
Maintain cleanliness of all club areas including sales floor, offices, restrooms, outdoor grounds and parking lot
Gather and return carts and flatbeds from parking lot to club entrance
Remove trash and debris from parking lot, cart corrals and exterior of the club
Ensure carts are well-stocked, clean, and in working order
Remove carts not suitable for use
Return new and unused merchandise to the sales floor
Perform wet and dry mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, carpet extracting, washing glass, emptying trash receptacles and pulling pallets
Maintain outdoor grounds including cart corrals, sidewalks and trash receptacles
Prioritize maintenance and cleaning responsibilities efficiently
Operate floor scrubber, trash compactor and cardboard baler machines safely
Restock maintenance and cleaning supplies and organize supply areas
Perform minor and routine building repairs
Notify management of major repairs needed
Maintain compliance with all club policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments as needed
Ensure regular, predictable, full attendance
