Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a fast-growing, family-owned company dedicated to providing high-quality living environments for seniors across more than 60 communities nationwide. At RLC, serving seniors is not just a job; it is a calling that binds the entire team together in a close-knit, servant-hearted community. The company's culture is built upon core values of respect, honesty, kindness & compassion, and service excellence, all of which guide every aspect of their operations and employee interactions. This foundation supports a thriving environment where employees and residents alike feel valued, respected, and cared for.
RLC's mission is guided by four essential goals that ensure their continued success: happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and on-budget operations. To achieve these goals, every team member contributes with passion and dedication to creating a supportive and enriching community. This vision is not only about maintaining a quality living space but also about fostering a sense of belonging and joy among residents and staff. The company emphasizes a positive, caring environment where collaboration and respect are paramount.
The role of Utility Buffet Server at Resort Lifestyle Communities offers a unique opportunity to contribute to this mission by creating meaningful dining experiences for residents. Beyond simply serving meals, individuals in this role play a vital part in enhancing the daily lives of seniors through warm, attentive, and personalized service. The position involves working as part of a collaborative team where open communication and responsiveness to feedback are highly valued. Utility Buffet Servers are entrusted with responsibilities that influence the overall dining atmosphere and contribute to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
This is a part-time opportunity with work hours scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, making it an excellent fit for those seeking flexible evening employment. The pay rate ranges from $14.50 to $16.30 per hour, reflecting the company's commitment to providing fair and competitive compensation. No previous work experience is required, making it an ideal position for individuals looking to gain valuable entry-level experience in the hospitality or senior care industry. The role also offers opportunities to handle specialized kitchen equipment safely, provided the employee meets age requirements and obtains necessary permits.
Utility Buffet Servers at RLC are responsible not only for serving but also for ensuring that every dining experience is welcoming and enjoyable. This includes greeting residents and guests with warmth, presenting menu options clearly, and attentively responding to the individual preferences and needs of each resident. Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to strict sanitation standards are equally important duties, as is the careful handling of dishware to prevent breakage. The role calls for professionalism in addressing feedback and promptly escalating concerns to leadership when needed, thereby maintaining the high service standards that RLC prides itself on.
Joining Resort Lifestyle Communities means becoming part of a purpose-driven team where your contributions directly impact the well-being and happiness of seniors. The company fosters a supportive leadership culture in a beautiful, resort-style environment that makes working there both rewarding and enjoyable. Whether you are seeking your first job to build real-world experience or you bring seasoned expertise, RLC welcomes you to apply and serve with heart in a role that truly makes a difference every day.
