Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Relevant experience in maintenance or utilities preferred
- Must have or obtain RETA and CIRO certification
- Ability to work a Sunday to Thursday night shift
- Must be available on call 24/7
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Physical ability to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance
- Pass physical capacity evaluation examination
- Ability to follow safety protocols and company guidelines
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Willingness to participate in on-going training
- Comply with all regulatory and company documentation requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school education or GED
- RETA and CIRO certification preferred
- Completion of Nestle Refrigeration training Matrix required within first two years in role
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, formulas, policies, and procedures
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using units of weight, measurement, volume, and distance
- Good computer knowledge and ability to accurately input data into inventory systems
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations
- Must pass physical capacity evaluation
- Formal training in OSHA PSM/RMP and HAZMAT programs preferred
- RETA CIRO certification within a two-year timeframe required
Job Duties
- Operate and maintain ammonia/CO2 refrigeration system
- Operate and maintain steam and hot water boiler systems
- Operate and maintain hot water heating systems
- Operate and maintain glycol systems
- Operate and maintain HVAC systems
- Maintain fire protection system
- Maintain compressed air systems
- Maintain safety systems
- Work with contractors as needed
- Accurately complete all required documentation and system transactions as required by all Governmental regulatory agencies and Nestle internal policies
- Maintain quality control per company guidelines
- Perform all job duties in accordance with the company’s safety guidelines
- Perform job rotations during scheduled workday depending on production needs
- Dispose of trash and clean work area thoroughly
- Work any assignment as directed by supervisor
- Work overtime as assigned by supervisor
- Assure regular and timely attendance per company guidelines
- Participate in on-going training to enhance knowledge and skills
- Other duties as assigned
- Perform maintenance and repair to HVAC and industrial NH3 refrigeration systems
- Troubleshoot and repair all refrigeration components including valves, pumps, electrical controls, compressors
