Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
- Effective reading and writing skills
- Good physical stamina for standing, walking, and kneeling
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Effective communication skills in one-on-one and small group situations
- Common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
- Basic PC/Outlook skills (preferred)
- Retail management certificate (preferred)
Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service
- Properly bag groceries for customers
- Assist customers with carrying groceries when needed
- Maintain and retrieve store carts
- Run price checks and assist with go-backs
- Support check stand upkeep
- Remove waste from the parking area
