Job Requirements

  • Six months experience in a fresh production department or six months experience supervising a team
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Successful completion of all job required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period

  • Food handler certification preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Supervise the team within all prepared foods departments, facilitate rotations through different fresh areas and manage members' needs to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club
  • Communicate the goals of the department, execute company programs, adhere to policies and advocate for the member, the associate, and the company
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of floor and backroom operations ensuring compliance with quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment usage, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Manage seasonality in production, understand new products, recipes, processes, and production specifications, prioritize time between areas, collaborate with associates and third parties, ensure team has resources and provide training
  • Leverage digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve shopping experience, elevate associate engagement, make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality
  • Drive business results ensuring operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area, ensure appropriate staffing, audit and compliance standards, produce and display merchandise according to plan, engage with departments and third-party partners
  • Teach and train the team by identifying training needs, provide and develop necessary skills to deliver high quality products, encourage career growth, source new talent
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing information, monitoring progress and addressing improvement opportunities
  • Demonstrate and promote compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
  • Lead and participate in teams by using resources, determining customer needs, coordinating work assignments, providing feedback, and supporting adaptation to change or new challenges
