Job Requirements
- 6 months retail experience including operating front-end equipment
- 6 months customer service experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to supervise associates
- Ability to handle member complaints professionally
- Ability to train staff on processes and procedures
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Ability to use self-service technology
- Commitment to company policies and ethical standards
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to participate in sales and marketing events
Job Qualifications
- 6 months retail experience including operating front-end equipment
- 6 months customer service experience
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Experience leading a front-end team preferred
- Experience in hiring, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates preferred
- Ability to manage workload of others preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Understanding of member service approaches and sales techniques
- Knowledge of store operations and cash register procedures
Job Duties
- Assist management with supervision of associates in assigned area
- Assign duties to associates
- Train associates on processes and procedures
- Provide direction and guidance on member service techniques
- Ensure resolution of member complaints and issues
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Support the Open Door Policy
- Participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates
- Communicate and support membership programs and benefits
- Process memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts
- Encourage membership renewals
- Participate in sales and marketing events
- Complete and maintain marketing documentation
- Strive to meet membership goals
- Provide and ensure member service by assisting with purchasing decisions and merchandise location
- Assist members with transactions and self-service technology
- Ensure club pick up orders are filled
- Handle claims and returns
- Zone and organize merchandise
- Identify shrink and damages
- Maintain availability of carts and flatbeds
- Assist members in transporting items
- Maintain parking lot cleanliness
- Complete accounting records and files
- Follow accounting office procedures
- Provide funds for register operation
- Interpret financial reports
- Assist with accounting investigations
- Prepare daily deposits and oversee Cash Fund Transfers
- Investigate register and office overages and shortages
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial information
- Develop and implement business processes by collaborating with managers and customers
- Monitor progress and identify improvement opportunities
- Promote compliance with company policies and ethical standards
- Explain and demonstrate ethical practices
- Assist management in correcting compliance issues
- Lead and participate in teams
