Job Requirements
- Minimum six months experience in fresh production area
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform bakery tasks
- Willingness to comply with food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- Strong interpersonal skills for customer interaction and teamwork
- Adaptability to new tools, processes, and seasonal demands
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months experience in a fresh production area
- Experience with cake decorating preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to learn and use digital tools and technology
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Commitment to maintaining company policies and ethical standards
Job Duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support bakery operations
- Educate associates on tools, tasks, and customer service skills
- Plan bakery production to ensure quality and design consistency
- Decorate bakery items using bags, tips, nozzles, flowers, and lettering
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and cold chain compliance standards
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize bakery equipment
- Utilize handheld technology for production, ordering, and quality control
- Manage inventory levels, control shrinkage, and reduce waste
- Prepare bakery for seasonal events and increased volume
- Assist members with product selection and resolve customer concerns
- Train, mentor, and support team members in a respectful and inclusive environment
- Uphold company policies, ethics, and integrity
- Promote a culture of respect, integrity, customer service, and continuous improvement
