Job Requirements

  • Minimum six months experience in fresh production area
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform bakery tasks
  • Willingness to comply with food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to operate bakery equipment safely

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Six months experience in a fresh production area
  • Experience with cake decorating preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to learn and use digital tools and technology

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support bakery operations
  • Educate associates on tools, tasks, and customer service skills
  • Plan bakery production to ensure quality and design consistency
  • Decorate bakery items using bags, tips, nozzles, flowers, and lettering
  • Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and cold chain compliance standards
  • Operate, maintain, and sanitize bakery equipment
  • Utilize handheld technology for production, ordering, and quality control
  • Manage inventory levels, control shrinkage, and reduce waste
  • Prepare bakery for seasonal events and increased volume
  • Assist members with product selection and resolve customer concerns
  • Train, mentor, and support team members in a respectful and inclusive environment
  • Uphold company policies, ethics, and integrity
  • Promote a culture of respect, integrity, customer service, and continuous improvement
