This specific role is for a Cake Decorator at the Sam's Club location in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a Cake Decorator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our bakery offerings not only meet but exceed member expectations by delivering quality products with beautiful and creative cake designs. This position demands a high level of collaboration with fellow associates to maintain inventory, control shrinkage, and safeguard food safety standards. You will be responsible for planning bakery production, ensuring consistent quality and design accuracy, and employing various decorating techniques using tools such as decorating bags, tips, and nozzles to create decorative flowers and lettering on baked goods. The role also includes operating and sanitizing bakery equipment, adhering strictly to sanitation guidelines and cold chain compliance.

In addition to technical baking and decorating skills, the Cake Decorator will utilize digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience. This includes making real-time business decisions regarding production, merchandise ordering, product quality, and training. You will act as a brand ambassador by modeling high-quality service and fostering a culture of respect, support, and teamwork. Responsibilities also include responding to member needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving any issues clearly and professionally, all while following company policies and upholding Walmart’s values of integrity and excellence.

Sam's Club offers competitive pay ranging from $19.00 to $27.00 per hour depending on experience, plus the possibility of additional premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
