Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within prescribed time periods
- 6 months experience in bakery production or team supervision
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Capable of performing physical tasks associated with bakery duties
- Commitment to maintaining health, safety, and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- 6 months experience in a bakery production department or supervising a team
- Knowledge of bakery operations, product specifications, and sanitation standards
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to use digital tools and technology to enhance sales and operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Experience in bakery production including decorating (preferred)
- Ability to mentor and develop team members
- Commitment to upholding company policies and ethical standards
Job Duties
- Supervise the bakery team to achieve business plan goals
- Communicate department goals and execute company programs
- Maintain compliance with quality, safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
- Train and equip bakery associates with product knowledge and production skills
- Utilize digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales and operational decisions
- Maintain inventory accuracy, audit, and compliance
- Ensure bakery displays and merchandise follow layout plans
- Promote teamwork and mentor associates for career growth
- Implement and support company policies and ethical standards
- Collaborate with other team leaders to meet member expectations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized bakery environment
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and embrace new technologies
