Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within prescribed time periods
  • 6 months experience in bakery production or team supervision
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Capable of performing physical tasks associated with bakery duties
  • Commitment to maintaining health, safety, and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • 6 months experience in a bakery production department or supervising a team
  • Knowledge of bakery operations, product specifications, and sanitation standards
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to use digital tools and technology to enhance sales and operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Food Handler Certification (preferred)
  • Experience in bakery production including decorating (preferred)
  • Ability to mentor and develop team members
  • Commitment to upholding company policies and ethical standards

Job Duties

  • Supervise the bakery team to achieve business plan goals
  • Communicate department goals and execute company programs
  • Maintain compliance with quality, safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
  • Train and equip bakery associates with product knowledge and production skills
  • Utilize digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales and operational decisions
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, audit, and compliance
  • Ensure bakery displays and merchandise follow layout plans
  • Promote teamwork and mentor associates for career growth
  • Implement and support company policies and ethical standards
  • Collaborate with other team leaders to meet member expectations
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized bakery environment
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and embrace new technologies
