Job Requirements

  • Must have six months experience in a bakery production department or six months experience supervising a team
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must complete all job required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period if hired

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to train and develop team members
  • Proficiency with digital tools and technology in retail operations
  • Understanding of safety, sanitation, and compliance standards
  • Preferred skills include bakery decorating and food handler certification

Job Duties

  • Supervise the bakery team to achieve business goals and contribute to overall club success
  • Communicate department goals and execute company programs while adhering to policies
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of bakery operations, product specifications, and seasonal trends
  • Ensure quality, safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance within the bakery
  • Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and engage associates
  • Manage bakery environment, including cleanliness, safety, inventory accuracy, and merchandise presentation
  • Identify training needs, develop team skills, encourage career growth, and recruit new talent
  • Collaborate with management and business partners to develop and implement effective processes
  • Promote compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity
  • Lead and participate in team initiatives, providing support and adapting to change
  • Foster a culture of respect, inclusion, and positive communication within the team
  • Act with integrity by modeling company values and supporting a regenerative impact
