Job Duties
- Accurately prepare, portion, season, and grill a variety of proteins and vegetables
- monitor internal temperatures to ensure meat is cooked to the customer’s specified rarity
- set up and stock stations with necessary supplies before service
- clean and sanitize equipment, including grills and prep areas, before, during, and after shifts
- work effectively with the rest of the kitchen staff and expeditor to ensure dishes are prepared simultaneously and delivered in a timely fashion
- adhere strictly to health code regulations, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination
- monitor ingredient freshness and stock levels, informing management when supplies need replenishment
