Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- proven experience in restaurant operations or leadership roles preferred
- strong communication skills for effective team and customer interaction
- basic math skills for handling cash and making change
- ability to train and supervise team members
- knowledge of food safety standards such as ServSafe
- ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and food quality
- leadership skills to participate and contribute in team meetings
- ability to manage operational duties including cash handling and inventory management
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- follow all standard operating procedures
- participate in weekly meetings with all leadership staff
- provide direction to other employees regarding operational and procedural issues
- close the restaurant and ensure all checklists are completed to company standards
- handle reconciliation of cash drawers
- maintain a safe and sanitary work environment including cleaning and sanitizing dishes, equipment, and dining areas
- enforce sanitary practices for food handling, cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas
- ensure consistent high quality of food preparation and service
- maintain professional restaurant image including cleanliness, uniform, and appearance standards
- control portion sizes and preparation quantities to minimize waste
- place orders with distributors and schedule deliveries
- receive orders, rotate, and properly store all products
- enter and receive all invoices using digital systems
- uphold all ServSafe guidelines
- maintain the highest standard of customer service
- resolve guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction
- ensure safe working and guest environments to reduce accidents
- complete accident reports promptly
- train new employees
- accurately follow standardized recipes and procedures
- handle, store, and rotate products according to health department standards
- able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- able to be on feet for extended periods up to 4 consecutive hours
