Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years’ experience in a culinary or food service role
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work part-time hours onsite
- Physical capability to lift 40 lbs and stand long shifts
- Willingness to follow all safety and security protocols
- Availability to attend training and staff meetings
Job Qualifications
- Two plus years of related culinary experience
- Specialty or advanced certification in culinary arts or equivalent experience
- Experience in large scale meal planning and kitchen management
- Skills in staff relations, customer service, and safety standards
- Preferred ServSafe certification
- Proficient in computer use including web browsing, email, and Office products
- Ability to speak and read English
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods
- Ability to model and promote Tri Delta's employee values
- Ability to use proper discretion and independent judgment
Job Duties
- Assist with preparation and service of meals
- Check and store food and supplies upon delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen
- Manage pantry stock, kitchen supplies, and equipment distribution
- Ensure compliance with food safety and kitchen safety standards
- Reconcile and report kitchen expenditures
- Submit work hours for payroll
