The University Cook plays an essential role in delivering culinary excellence across breakfast, lunch, and dinner services. The successful candidate will assist with menu planning to ensure offerings are appealing and accommodate diverse dietary requirements. Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred
  • Proven kitchen experience in fine dining, restaurants, or the food industry demonstrating proficiency in food preparation and cooking
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering services
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and serve customers warmly
  • Familiarity with food industry best practices including knife skills, food service protocols, and kitchen safety guidelines

  • Maintain accurate food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
