Job Requirements
- Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred
- Proven kitchen experience in fine dining, restaurants, or the food industry demonstrating proficiency in food preparation and cooking
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering services
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and serve customers warmly
- Familiarity with food industry best practices including knife skills, food service protocols, and kitchen safety guidelines

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, adhering to established recipes and menu plans
- Assist in menu planning to ensure balanced, appealing, and nutritious offerings for diverse dietary needs
- Handle food safely by following proper sanitation procedures and maintaining cleanliness in all food preparation areas
- Serve meals efficiently in a timely manner, ensuring excellent customer service for students and staff
- Support catering events by preparing food items and assisting with setup and presentation
- Maintain accurate food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Demonstrate strong knife skills and culinary techniques to produce high-quality dishes consistently
