Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- medical office assistant certificate or prior unit clerk experience preferred
- de-escalation training (obtained CPI within six months of employment) in required specialty
- bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- good computer skills
- excellent interpersonal skills
- BLS preferred
- ability to work in high-stress environment
- ability to multi-task

Job Duties
- Perform clerical and receptionist duties on the nursing unit
- coordinate communication between patients, nursing staff, and other departments
- maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- manage scheduling and administrative support tasks
- assist nursing staff with clerical needs
- handle multi-line phone systems and direct calls efficiently
- support smooth operation of the nursing unit
