Job Requirements
- CNA license required
- BLS certification required
- Acute care experience within the last two years preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
- Ability to operate office equipment including computers
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Empathetic and compassionate interpersonal skills
- Ability to respond calmly in emergencies
- Completion of competency assessments and safety reviews
- Maintenance of required certifications as per hospital policy
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Serve as unit receptionist
- Transcribe medical orders
- Order tests and medical supplies
- Coordinate unit phone communications
- Transport patients
- Stock shelves and maintain supply inventory
- Clean work areas and maintain medical records
- Report patient observations to nurses
- Provide care for adult, pediatric, and newborn patients depending on unit
- Complete competency assessments and annual safety reviews
- Maintain CPR and certification renewals
- Perform additional duties as assigned
