Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior bartending experience in a high-volume environment
  • Completion of state-mandated alcohol server training
  • Ability to communicate clearly and interact effectively with customers
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
  • Must be at least 21 years old per legal drinking age laws
  • Willingness to work varied shifts including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Proven bartending experience, often requiring 1+ years in a high-volume setting
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, and beverage recipes
  • State-mandated alcohol server training such as TIPS or SERVSAFE
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and maintain physical stamina for standing and lifting

Job Duties

  • Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to standardized recipes, ensuring quality and speed
  • Greet patrons, take orders, make recommendations, and handle payments accurately
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and fully stocked bar area, including washing glassware and managing inventory
  • Check IDs for legal drinking age, adhere to safety regulations, and refuse service to intoxicated patrons
  • Follow and help enforce policies set by the collective bargaining agreement regarding working conditions, shifts, and safety
