Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior bartending experience in a high-volume environment
- Completion of state-mandated alcohol server training
- Ability to communicate clearly and interact effectively with customers
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
- Must be at least 21 years old per legal drinking age laws
- Willingness to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Proven bartending experience, often requiring 1+ years in a high-volume setting
- Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, and beverage recipes
- State-mandated alcohol server training such as TIPS or SERVSAFE
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain physical stamina for standing and lifting
Job Duties
- Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to standardized recipes, ensuring quality and speed
- Greet patrons, take orders, make recommendations, and handle payments accurately
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and fully stocked bar area, including washing glassware and managing inventory
- Check IDs for legal drinking age, adhere to safety regulations, and refuse service to intoxicated patrons
- Follow and help enforce policies set by the collective bargaining agreement regarding working conditions, shifts, and safety
