Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year bartending experience in high-volume environment
Completion of state-mandated alcohol server training
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patrons
Capacity to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
Authorization to work in the United States
Must comply with union membership and work eligibility rules

Job Qualifications

Proven bartending experience often requiring 1+ years in a high-volume setting
Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, and beverage recipes
State-mandated alcohol server training such as TIPS or SERVSAFE
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask effectively
Physical stamina for standing and lifting

Job Duties

Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to standardized recipes ensuring quality and speed
Greet patrons, take orders, make recommendations, and handle payments accurately
Maintain a clean, sanitized, and fully stocked bar area including washing glassware and managing inventory
Check IDs for legal drinking age, adhere to safety regulations, and refuse service to intoxicated patrons
Follow and potentially help enforce policies set by the collective bargaining agreement regarding working conditions, shifts, and safety
