Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in administrative or clerical roles
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient computer skills including data entry and financial reconciliation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in clerical or administrative support roles
- Strong organizational and record keeping skills
- Proficient in using computers and basic accounting software
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience working in a food service or hospitality environment preferred
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups including co-workers and clients
Job Duties
- Answer telephones and direct inquiries in a professional and client centric manner
- Maintain confidential personnel files
- Assist management staff in preparing confidential employment and labor relations documents including proposed disciplinary notices
- Assist with staffing including finding staff for short notice employee absences
- Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, school personnel, administrators, student parents, and supervisors
- Complete and maintain accurate and up to date records of students eligible for free and reduced priced lunches if applicable
- Enter weekly cash sales and meal counts using computer
- Perform daily bank deposit reconciliation
- Process vendor invoices for payment ensuring accuracy and checking item prices against bid specifications
- Perform monthly vendor statement reconciliation
- Prepare monthly state claim form for reimbursement
- Assist in preparation of end of month financial reports
- Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
