Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience in administrative or clerical roles
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient computer skills including data entry and financial reconciliation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in clerical or administrative support roles
  • Strong organizational and record keeping skills
  • Proficient in using computers and basic accounting software
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience working in a food service or hospitality environment preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups including co-workers and clients

Job Duties

  • Answer telephones and direct inquiries in a professional and client centric manner
  • Maintain confidential personnel files
  • Assist management staff in preparing confidential employment and labor relations documents including proposed disciplinary notices
  • Assist with staffing including finding staff for short notice employee absences
  • Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, school personnel, administrators, student parents, and supervisors
  • Complete and maintain accurate and up to date records of students eligible for free and reduced priced lunches if applicable
  • Enter weekly cash sales and meal counts using computer
  • Perform daily bank deposit reconciliation
  • Process vendor invoices for payment ensuring accuracy and checking item prices against bid specifications
  • Perform monthly vendor statement reconciliation
  • Prepare monthly state claim form for reimbursement
  • Assist in preparation of end of month financial reports
  • Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
