The company prides itself on fostering a diverse and inclusive environment, being an equal opportunity employer and a military-friendly employer that actively encourages veterans and those with military experience to apply.
The UAL Summer Associate position at ABM is an integral role focusing on delivering outstanding guest service within an aviation environment, most notably at airport terminals and concourses. This role offers a competitive hourly wage of $22.04 and is flexible in terms of employment type, with opportunities available for both part-time and full-time schedules. The Summer Associate acts as a brand ambassador for United Airlines, enhancing customer experience and promoting customer retention. The role also includes being vigilant about security concerns, accepting deliveries, arranging transportation services like taxis, and adapting to changing situations quickly and effectively. The position provides training across designated areas with daily assignments managed by supervisors, ensuring exposure to a range of functions and business needs. Employees will receive two United branded shirts to wear during shifts and are expected to maintain professional appearance standards consistent with United’s public contact employee guidelines.
