They are currently seeking a Driver to join their team in Linthicum, Maryland. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operational needs of Northrop Grumman by handling transportation and mail logistics between various local sites and external locations within the Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Washington D.C. areas.

The Driver will be responsible for operating cargo vans, trucks, and shuttle buses to transport personnel, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently. Beyond driving duties, the role involves coordinating special events and meetings, managing inbound and outbound mail and parcels, and providing timely shuttle services for internal teams and VIPs. This is a first-shift position that requires flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed to meet the organization's operational demands. Maintaining a neat and professional appearance is essential, along with the ability to interact diplomatically with the public and company personnel.

Key responsibilities include supporting shuttle services, assisting with event logistics, loading and unloading vehicles with manual labor or mechanical equipment such as forklifts, managing inventory and deliveries, and conducting routine vehicle inspections and maintenance coordination. The driver must have a profound understanding of motor vehicle regulations, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure vehicles are operated securely and responsibly. This role reports to supervisors and must maintain detailed service records to support accurate billing of services.
