Job Description

The company is currently seeking a General Manager to oversee operations at one of its moving and storage centers located at 333 Sunrise Ave, Roseville, California. This role is a key leadership position responsible for maintaining the center's profitability, operational efficiency, and adherence to company standards. Offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from $6,725 to $6,875, this full-time position requires a motivated and responsible individual who can lead a team, manage inventory, and address challenges proactively in a fast-paced environment.
As a General Manager at U-Haul, your primary responsibility is to ensure the center runs smoothly by hiring and mentoring staff, managing budgets, and tracking the fleet of equipment to maintain cleanliness and proper functionality. You will be tasked with conducting profit and loss analyses to measure the center’s financial performance and implementing strategies to improve profitability. Daily duties also include inventory management, monitoring fuel receipts and petty cash, securing the premises, and delivering exceptional customer service to uphold the U-Haul brand reputation.
