Located at 8805 N Division St, Spokane, Washington, the U-Haul center is seeking a highly motivated and responsible General Manager to lead the operations of one of their moving and storage centers. This full-time position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from $7,000 to $7,150. The General Manager role is vital in maintaining the profitability and efficiency of the center by overseeing staff hiring, inventory management, equipment upkeep, and day-to-day problem solving.
The General Manager position at U-Haul is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring a hands-on approach and strong leadership skills. This role involves managing the center's fleet to ensure clean and well-maintained equipment, performing profit and loss analyses, and mentoring new team members to provide excellent customer service. The manager is also tasked with tracking inventory, managing the personnel budget, and maintaining a secure, organized work environment. Participation in continuous education through U-Haul University is encouraged, emphasizing the company’s commitment to professional development and career advancement.

- 1-3 years of management experience in retail or another service industry with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction

- Management proficiency in high-volume retail with profit and loss (P&L) accountability
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
