Job Requirements

  • minimum 18 years old
  • legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • minimum high school diploma or GED
  • current FAA medical certificate
  • proficiently read, write, and speak English
  • hold minimum of FAA Commercial Pilot License or ATP
  • safe driving and safe flying record
  • two years of flight instructing experience
  • 200 hours of dual
  • preference given to pilots with CFI or CFII

Job Qualifications

  • current FAA medical certificate
  • proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking
  • high school diploma or GED
  • preference given to pilots who already have their CFI or CFII

Job Duties

  • train CFI applicants in flight procedures and safety protocols
  • conduct ground and flight instruction sessions
  • evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
  • ensure compliance with FAA regulations and Academy standards
  • maintain accurate records of student progress
  • participate in ongoing training and professional development
  • promote a culture of safety within the training environment
