Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience as a Bar Back
  • ability to communicate in English
  • successful completion of HOH training program
  • physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 15 pounds
  • adherence to uniform and grooming standards
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Bar Back
  • ability to communicate in English
  • ability to understand prep recipes and line build procedures
  • ability to apply common sense and problem-solving skills
  • ability to follow training programs including HOH training
  • knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
  • teamwork skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Adhering to uniform standards
  • adhering to policies and procedures that maintain a clean and sanitized restaurant
  • maintain clean and organized stations and equipment
  • ensure HOH standards, safety and sanitation, and GHS requirements are followed at all times
  • ability to work as a team
  • train using tablets or computer
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • assisting with opening and closing duties including restocking the bar, cleaning, sweeping, mopping
  • ensuring the bar is well stocked
  • changing kegs, checking taps, and appliances for good repair
