Job Description
Twin Peaks is a well-known casual dining restaurant chain famous for its unique mountain lodge ambiance, exceptional service, and a diverse menu featuring hand-crafted beverages and hearty American cuisine. As a restaurant that prides itself on delivering an extraordinary guest experience, Twin Peaks focuses extensively on cleanliness, safety, and maintaining a high standard of operational efficiency throughout its venues. With locations across the country, Twin Peaks offers an energizing and supportive workplace culture where discipline, teamwork, and pride in one's work are essential to daily success.
The role of a Bar Back at Twin Peaks is pivotal to supporting the overall bar operations by ensuring that the bar area is maintained clean, organized, and well stocked to meet the demands of the beverage program. This position requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, diligent, and dedicated to upholding the rigorous safety, sanitation, and operational standards unique to Twin Peaks. The Bar Back will be integral in maintaining the integrity of the bar setup, allowing bartenders to focus on delivering exceptional drinks and customer service.
Bar Backs at Twin Peaks are responsible for crucial operational tasks such as restocking beverages, changing kegs, checking bar equipment, and supporting opening and closing duties. The role demands a high level of physical stamina due to the nature of cleaning, stocking, and maintaining equipment in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on position that requires a collaborative spirit, as Bar Backs work closely with other team members to maintain a consistent and inviting bar environment for guests. Employees in this role must adhere strictly to Twin Peaks’ policies including uniform standards, hygiene, and safety regulations.
This job offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to build a career in hospitality or beverage service, fostering growth through hands-on training including tablet or computer-based modules. The position demands an employee with the ability to understand and follow prep recipes and line build procedures while applying common sense and problem-solving skills to perform their duties effectively. While primarily focused on supporting bar operations, the Bar Back role also extends to helping with general restaurant cleanliness to ensure a superior dining experience for guests.
Twin Peaks emphasizes a respectful workplace environment with clear policies against harassment, fraternization, and substance abuse, helping to maintain a safe and professional atmosphere for all employees. The comprehensive training and adherence to health and safety standards, including compliance with local and state regulations for food and alcohol service, ensure that Bar Backs are well prepared and fully supported in their position.
Overall, the Bar Back position at Twin Peaks is ideal for motivated individuals who are willing to learn, take initiative, and work as part of a team to contribute towards an exceptional guest experience in a dynamic restaurant setting. Successful candidates can expect to engage in meaningful work that balances routine tasks with the opportunity for skills development and advancement in the hospitality industry.
