Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in inside sales, retail counter sales, or customer service preferred
  • experience handling cash, payments, and reconciliations strongly preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • comfortable answering phones and assisting walk-in customers
  • basic computer skills and ability to learn sales and estimating software
  • organized, detail-oriented, and reliable

Job Duties

  • Staff and manage the front counter during business hours
  • greet and assist walk-in customers with product information, pricing, and general inquiries
  • answer incoming phone calls and check/respond to voicemails in a timely manner
  • schedule appointments for outside sales representatives
  • maintain a professional, friendly, and helpful customer experience at all times
  • prepare and print subcontractor checks as directed
  • assist with order entry, estimates, and sales documentation
  • communicate effectively with sales representatives, subcontractors, and internal team members
  • support daily store operations and general office tasks as needed
  • receive and process cash, check, and card payments
  • prepare daily cash deposits
  • perform cash drawer reconciliation and ensure accuracy
  • follow company procedures for handling money and financial records
