Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- live within or near Monterey County
- prior tutoring, teaching, or coaching experience preferred
- reliable transportation for local travel
- ability to set and manage own availability
- willingness to work part-time
- ability to work independently without direct supervision
Job Qualifications
- Experience in tutoring, teaching, or coaching
- strong communication skills
- strong organizational and time management skills
- passion for helping students achieve academic goals
- comfortable with in-person interactions
- ability to work independently and manage schedule
- knowledge in subjects such as math, reading, science, languages, or test preparation
Job Duties
- Provide one-on-one, in person tutoring to local students
- support students from elementary through high school, college, and all ages
- choose the students and sessions that fit your schedule
- travel only within your preferred local radius (typically 5-10 miles)
- use your own teaching methods and materials
- log tutoring sessions and track pay using the online platform
- communicate effectively with students and families
