As a full-time, non-management housekeeping professional at Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk, you will play an essential role in creating an inviting, spotless environment that makes guests feel at home during their stay. Your role will be pivotal from the moment a guest steps into their room. First impressions matter immensely, and the cleanliness and arrangement of the room can set the stage for a memorable stay. Daily responsibilities will include replacing guest amenities and room supplies, making beds, folding linens, and removing trash and soiled items. Additionally, your duties will involve dusting, polishing, spot-cleaning walls and furnishings, vacuuming carpets, and performing other floor care tasks.

The position demands physical stamina as it requires moving and lifting items up to 25 pounds, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. A professional appearance—including a clean uniform—is mandatory. Furthermore, before beginning your employment, you will undergo safety training and certification to uphold the highest standards of workplace and guest safety.
