Responsibilities include preparing rooms for turndown service by refreshing linens and towels, wiping down surfaces, and arranging personal items left by guests. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • ability to follow safety and hygiene procedures
  • good physical condition and stamina to perform tasks involving bending, lifting and standing for extended periods
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • willingness to adhere to company standards and policies
  • legal authorization to work in the country

Job Duties

  • Prepares the guest room for turndown service
  • removes used towels and replaces them with clean ones from the linen closet
  • wipes down any wet surfaces in the bathroom
  • folds any clothing left in room and places it in appropriate spot
  • removes room service trays and dishes and carts to service landings
  • replaces used cups, saucers, spoons and glasses from the minibar with clean china, glasses and cutlery from the room attendant pantry
  • removes garbage from bins in bedroom and bathroom
  • closes drapes based on applicable standard, reduces lighting, turns music on softly and prepares bed
  • submits all maintenance issues in guestrooms, public areas and back of house areas to the engineering department through designated work systems and brings them to the attention of housekeeping management
  • adds special touches to the guestrooms to enhance the guest experience, for example, microfiber cloth, bookmarks, travel bags
  • restocks used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery, pens and coffee, tea and sugar sachets
  • prepares unoccupied rooms for turndown for arriving guests
  • performs full room attendant duties in occupied rooms and late check-out rooms when needed
  • complies with four seasons' category one and category two work rules and standards of conduct as set forth in empact
  • works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
