Job Description

This job posting is for a Truck/Stock Unloader position at a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald's USA. The franchisee owns the license to use McDonald’s logos and food products but operates as a separate company and employer from McDonald's USA. Employment matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling, are entirely managed by the franchisee, not McDonald's USA. This distinction highlights the unique structure of employment within McDonald's franchised restaurants and provides applicants with clarity about who their employer will be and whom to contact for employment matters.

McDonald's is a globally recognized fast-food restaurant chain known for its commitment to quality food, customer service, and providing growth opportunities for employees. The McDonald's franchise offers a welcoming and supportive environment where employees can develop valuable life and work skills. The company is committed to becoming America's Best First Job by providing industry-leading education programs and training opportunities to empower employees and foster their career development both within and outside McDonald's.

The role of Truck/Stock Unloader is fundamental in ensuring that the restaurant has all necessary supplies to operate efficiently. This position offers competitive pay ranging from $21.50 to $22.00 per hour, reflecting the importance of the role in the restaurant's day-to-day operations. As a Truck/Stock Unloader, the key responsibility is to unload deliveries from the supplier trucks and properly stock the items within the restaurant's storage and kitchen areas. Attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work safely and efficiently are crucial for success in this position.

Employees in this role contribute significantly to maintaining smooth inventory management and overall restaurant efficiency. The Truck/Stock Unloader helps prevent stock shortages and supports the kitchen and crew team by ensuring that all necessary ingredients and supplies are readily available. Part-time work options are available, offering flexible scheduling to accommodate different lifestyles and commitments.

Working at this McDonald's franchisee location comes with several attractive benefits, including free uniforms, paid training, career advancement opportunities, and 401(k) plans. Additional benefits include paid time off, paid sick leave, college tuition assistance ranging from $2,500 to $3,000 per year after 90 days of employment, and the opportunity to earn a free high school diploma through the Archways to Opportunity program. Meal discounts and free meals are also provided, alongside overtime pay for designated holidays.

This position is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, have a strong work ethic, and are looking for a supportive work environment where they can grow and develop their skills. The Truck/Stock Unloader plays an integral part in the team that delivers the high-quality experience McDonald's customers expect.
