Job Requirements
- CDL-A license with minimum six months experience
- At least 21 years of age
- No DUI or drug convictions in the last five years
- No felonies in the last ten years
- No experience required for straight trucks or cargo vans
- Understand that all drivers and vehicle owners are independent contractors
- Recognize truck and financing are through an independent third party
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum six months of team driving experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage own schedule
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Experience with expedite freight is a plus
Job Duties
- Operate truck and transport goods safely and on time
- Manage schedule and routes independently
- Maintain open communication with Panther’s driver support team
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Participate in the lease purchase program and manage related payments
- Deliver high-value expedite freight with minimal handling
- Collaborate effectively with co-driver to maximize efficiency
