Penske Logistics is currently offering immediate opportunities for full-time Local Class B Delivery Truck Drivers based out of Waco, Texas. This role offers an average annual salary of $62,972 and focuses on dedicated routes with a local schedule that allows drivers to return home daily. The position involves driving late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure a secure driving environment.
As a Local Class B Delivery Truck Driver, you will perform multi-stop deliveries, transporting parts and supplies primarily to automotive dealerships within a designated local area. Responsibilities include unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, as well as using scanners to track and verify products during delivery. Drivers handle approximately 25 delivery stops and 5 transfers weekly and work on a 5-day schedule from Tuesday through Saturday. Dispatch times begin early, typically ranging from 2:00 am to 2:30 am, and average work hours are between 35 and 40 per week.

Job Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement required
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Ability to currently hold or obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- Minimum 1 year of relevant commercial vehicle driving experience within the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- English language proficiency required for compliance with federal law
- Complete Penske employment application and submit to background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safely
- Ability to accept responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others
- Must be able to see, hear, and have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment
- Frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting required
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs regularly and up to 100lbs occasionally
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit vehicle and cargo areas
