As a global logistics company, Penske is dedicated to excellence, safety, and customer service, ensuring reliable delivery and satisfaction at every step of the logistics process.
This exciting full-time opportunity is for Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers who will be based in Rochester, NY, with a competitive average annual salary of $90,000. Drivers will enjoy the advantage of being home daily, operating late model trucks leased from Penske Truck Leasing. These vehicles are built with best-in-class specifications designed to maximize driver comfort, safety, and performance. This role specifically involves delivering groceries within Pennsylvania and New York, with a strict no-touch freight policy, ensuring that drivers focus primarily on safe driving rather than loading or unloading cargo.
The standard schedule for this position is a manageable 5-day workweek with a convenient 6 pm start time, enabling drivers to maintain work-life balance while consistently earning a reliable income. Penske Logistics offers a comprehensive benefits package from day one of employment, including paid vacation and holidays, robust retirement plans, excellent healthcare coverage encompassing medical, dental, and vision plans, as well as short and long-term disability insurance, life and AD&D insurance. Additional perks include company-provided uniforms, an employee discount program, driver referral bonuses up to $5000, safety incentives, and prestigious premier driver recognition.
Working with Penske means joining a professional team that values safety, communication, and career growth. Drivers are not just employees but ambassadors for the company and its clients, often representing some of the world’s leading brands through branded trucks and uniforms. Penske is committed to supporting its drivers with ongoing training and development opportunities, enabling career advancement and even relocation options across its widespread national network.
This role requires compliance with federal and state regulations and maintaining a high level of professionalism and alertness to ensure safety on the road, making it ideal for experienced, dedicated drivers seeking stable employment with a reputable transportation company. Those interested in joining Penske will find a supportive environment with excellent equipment, clear communication, and dependable pay every Friday. If you are ready to accelerate your trucking career with a company that values its drivers, Penske is the place to be.
