Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid Class A CDL
- current non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- minimum 1 year documented tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
- clean DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents in 3 years
- English language proficiency
- ability to work Tuesday through Saturday with dispatch time at 12:30 am
- pass background check and drug screening
- ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100lbs
- ability to legally operate a motor vehicle
- commitment to safety and responsibility for self and others
Job Qualifications
- valid Class A CDL required
- domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence
- currently hold or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- at least 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- ability to work required schedule and location
- pass background investigation and drug screening
- ability to work in a safe manner and constant state of alertness
- physical ability to operate a motor vehicle and handle job demands
Job Duties
- perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
- perform shuttle runs
- unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
- use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
- manage approximately 5 stops, 5 transfers, and 5 drop and hooks per week
- safely operate late-model, Penske maintained trucks equipped with in-cab cameras
- represent Penske and clients by providing excellent customer service and building strong account relationships
