Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 years of commercial driving experience with Class A CDL
  • ability to follow all DOT regulations
  • maintain a valid CDL license
  • physical ability to lift up to 100lbs occasionally and 50lbs regularly
  • ability to see and hear clearly with good vision and depth perception
  • pass background, employment verification, and drug tests
  • English language proficiency as per federal law
  • comply with Penske’s safety and attendance policies

Job Qualifications

  • CDL Class A license required
  • ability to obtain or currently hold a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
  • minimum 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
  • clean DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents in the past 3 years
  • excellent knowledge of federal and state driving laws and regulations
  • strong commitment to safety and professionalism
  • proficiency in English
  • ability to complete background check and drug screening
  • capability to work a full-time schedule with predictable attendance

Job Duties

  • drive late model Penske trucks designed for comfort and safety
  • deliver snacks and bread products on assigned routes
  • adhere to scheduled dispatch times Monday through Friday
  • complete an average of one layover per week
  • maintain compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations
  • ensure safe and timely delivery of freight
  • represent Penske and client brands professionally on the road
