Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of commercial driving experience with Class A CDL
- ability to follow all DOT regulations
- maintain a valid CDL license
- physical ability to lift up to 100lbs occasionally and 50lbs regularly
- ability to see and hear clearly with good vision and depth perception
- pass background, employment verification, and drug tests
- English language proficiency as per federal law
- comply with Penske’s safety and attendance policies
Job Qualifications
- CDL Class A license required
- ability to obtain or currently hold a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- minimum 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
- clean DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents in the past 3 years
- excellent knowledge of federal and state driving laws and regulations
- strong commitment to safety and professionalism
- proficiency in English
- ability to complete background check and drug screening
- capability to work a full-time schedule with predictable attendance
Job Duties
- drive late model Penske trucks designed for comfort and safety
- deliver snacks and bread products on assigned routes
- adhere to scheduled dispatch times Monday through Friday
- complete an average of one layover per week
- maintain compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations
- ensure safe and timely delivery of freight
- represent Penske and client brands professionally on the road
