The Driver role at Core-Mark is critical in sustaining efficient and timely distribution operations by transporting food and food-related products safely to customers. This full-time position offers a competitive compensation package, including a minimum weekly pay of $1250 (subject to meeting weekly requirements, discussed during the interview), with potential annual earnings exceeding $80,000 and monthly bonuses up to $1,600. The typical shift runs Monday to Friday with early dispatch times between 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Drivers operate tractor-trailers or straight trucks, handling tasks such as performing safety inspections, managing freight loading and unloading, verifying delivery documentation, and ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The role demands a strong commitment to safety standards, excellent communication with customers and team members, and a proactive approach to maintaining the quality and security of products during transit.
