The opportunity presented is for full-time Local Class B Delivery Truck Drivers based out of Columbia, Missouri. These drivers will be operating late-model Penske trucks equipped with the latest safety features, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, ensuring a safe and comfortable ride. Drivers will enjoy benefits such as home daily, Tuesday through Saturday shifts, dedicated routes, and an attractive average annual pay of $70,250, with additional incentives for scanning and safety, which can total up to $6,200. In this role, drivers will be responsible for performing multi-stop deliveries to automotive dealerships, delivering parts and supplies safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, as well as scanning products as they are unloaded to maintain accurate delivery records. Each route includes around seven stops plus one transfer, with a third-shift dispatch schedule. Drivers are expected to commit to full attendance, comply with all federal and state safety regulations, and maintain the high standards of professionalism that Penske is known for.

Job Requirements
- valid Class B CDL airbrake endorsement
- domicile within the U.S. and appropriate state licensing
- current or obtainable non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- minimum 1 year documented commercial driving experience within last 5 years
- clean driving record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents in last 3 years
- adherence to federal and state laws and safety regulations
- consistent and full attendance
- English proficiency
- willingness to complete employment application, background check, and drug screening
- ability to maintain safety alertness
- physical ability to operate vehicle and lift up to 100lbs
Job Qualifications
- valid Class B CDL airbrake endorsement required
- applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
- English language proficiency required
- ability to work the required schedule and location
- completion of background investigation and drug screening required
- ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
Job Duties
- perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
- unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
- use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
- complete 7 stops plus 1 transfer per route
- comply with all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- maintain safety by operating vehicle in a cautious and responsible manner
- ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders
