The Food and Food Service Delivery Driver position is vital within Core-Mark’s operation, tasked with the delivery of food and related products to customers promptly and in excellent condition. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday from 4 AM until the work is completed. Drivers typically earn between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, reflecting the importance and responsibility of the job. Candidates must hold a valid CDL-A license and be comfortable with occasional overnights, typically 1 to 2 per week. The driver will handle various routes including intrastate, interstate, over-the-road, shuttle, and drive and drop assignments, assuring compliance with Department of Transportation regulations while serving as the face of the company by maintaining professional relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers.

Key responsibilities include performing thorough safety checks on vehicles and trailers, reporting safety concerns immediately, and ensuring loads are secured correctly. Drivers will verify product counts and invoices, manage accurate paperwork, and ensure timely and safe delivery of products. Vehicles must be properly secured at all times, and drivers will conduct damage control checks, handle customer signatures and payments when required, and manage returns appropriately.
