The company operates in over 40 countries with more than 12,000 dedicated employees worldwide and is headquartered in Zurich. Barry Callebaut’s mission is not only to deliver superior products but also to reinvest in the communities in which it operates, supporting sustainability and ethical sourcing initiatives. The company strongly believes in corporate responsibility by fostering sustainable agricultural practices, eliminating child labor, and driving environmental stewardship through ambitious programs such as Forever Chocolate.
The role of Truck Driver at Barry Callebaut is a vital part of this larger vision. This includes pre and post-trip inspections, ensuring all truck components are in optimal condition, and following local, state, and federal regulations.
Additionally, the truck driver will be responsible for accurately managing delivery documentation such as Bills of Lading and electronic logs compliant with FMCSA Hours of Service rules to maintain transparency and efficiency. A strong focus is placed on route planning, navigating through diverse driving environments while adjusting to traffic conditions to ensure timely deliveries. Excellent customer service skills are also key, as the driver will interact professionally with customers at delivery points, reinforcing Barry Callebaut’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
