Job Requirements

  • Class A CDL and a good motor vehicle report or ability to obtain a Class A CDL
  • Haz-Mat and tanker endorsements (can be obtained during training)
  • medical examiner certificate from a company-approved examiner
  • ability to pass our physical ability test (PAT)
  • ability to read, speak, and comprehend the English language
  • safety-first mindset

Job Qualifications

  • Class A CDL or ability to obtain

  • six months of over-the-road experience or graduate of approved truck driver training school
  • high school diploma or GED

Job Duties

  • Safely and efficiently operate DTI equipment to transport product
  • comply with all legal and regulatory requirements set by the Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), and other governing bodies
  • load and unload dry and temperature-controlled goods for all jobs except no-touch freight
  • meet established company goals including managing miles per gallon (MPG), fuel purchases, idle time, and speed
  • read and understand DTI load paperwork and product and packaging descriptions
  • identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
