This job posting is for a Regional Class A Tanker Driver position based in East Chicago, Indiana. This full-time role is essential in transporting liquid waste safely and efficiently from East Chicago to various locations across the Midwest, averaging approximately 2400 miles weekly. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $17.97 to $47.77 per hour, with total earnings typically between $90,000 and $120,000 annually. Additionally, drivers are eligible for a $7,500 sign-on bonus and receive weekly home time, reflecting the company's respect for work-life balance.
The compensation package also includes hourly wages for all on-duty non-driving time along with mileage pay, ensuring drivers are fairly compensated for all aspects of their job. Job Requirements
- Driver qualification required
- Ability to climb and work from heights
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more
- Class A CDL
- Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
- Minimum 3 months of tanker experience
- HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
- Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software

Job Duties
- Ensure that health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Operate tractor trailer tanker units
- Adhere to weights and ensure proper utilization of the units
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste and non-hazardous waste
- Properly secure the loads
- Placard vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements and regulations
- Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports
