The Regional Class A Tanker Driver position based in East Chicago, Indiana, offers an exciting opportunity to join a safety-conscious and dynamic team working within the Midwest region. This route averages 2400 miles per week, allowing drivers to operate in a consistent regional circuit. Drivers in this role can expect to earn between $90,000 and $120,000 annually, reflecting a competitive wage structure that includes hourly pay for all on-duty non-driving time plus mileage pay. Additionally, the role offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus as an incentive to attract qualified candidates.

Safety-Kleen seeks experienced Class A CDL holders with a minimum of one year of driving experience and at least three months of tanker operation experience. Candidates must possess valid HAZMAT and tanker endorsements, be able to climb and work from heights, and have the physical ability to lift and carry weights over 50 pounds. The ability to effectively use technology such as mobile apps and computer software is also essential to maintain communication and reporting throughout the route.
