The company prides itself on fostering a positive work environment where team members are encouraged to thrive and grow together. Their culture goes beyond mere words on a website; it embodies their everyday operations, decision-making processes, hiring practices, and overall team dynamics. The four core values that DYNE Hospitality Group upholds are Investing in People, Understanding Why, Making Smart Decisions, and Making It Happen. These principles are not just theoretical but are ingrained in every aspect of the company’s cafes, reflected in prominently displayed signage and the behavior expected from all staff.
The role of Assistant Store Manager at DYNE Hospitality Group, specifically located at 4134 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79605, is a vital position that provides operational support to General Managers overseeing between 30 to 40 cafes. This position is hourly, non-exempt, and requires flexibility with working hours that may start as early as 5 a.m. or extend until midnight, depending on café hours. The Assistant Store Manager acts as a key player in maintaining the smooth operation of multiple cafe locations by stepping in during General Manager absences such as vacations or transitions and supporting new cafe openings. This role involves a multitude of responsibilities, including the execution of training programs, staff coaching, inventory management, and ensuring that all cafes under their oversight adhere strictly to DYNE Hospitality's brand standards.
The Assistant Store Manager is tasked with driving the brand values and standards through continual training and development activities, contributing to the growth and capability of both management and crew members. This role requires an individual who can assist with hiring and staffing, particularly addressing needs at critically understaffed locations, and provide essential support for new software rollouts and trainings. A comprehensive understanding of each position within the cafe is crucial, along with proficiency in systems such as MyInventory for managing goals, labor, and inventory control. The Assistant Store Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering unparalleled hospitality to customers, ensuring operational excellence across every station in the cafes, and fostering a work environment that aligns with DYNE’s culture and values. This role is ideal for seasoned professionals passionate about leadership, operational efficiency, and creating exceptional dining experiences within a vibrant, fast-paced environment.
